Quality, Recycling and the Environment
Invicta ensures that all products designed and manufactured conform with our clients' requirements. We wholeheartedly support both environmental and ethical trading practices. The polymers we use are all heavy metal free. We have had our own recycling plant since 1971 and we are able to manufacture in recyclable plastics or fully biodegradable bio-polymers (full degeneration time 60 days minimum as of July 2005) according to our customer’s specifications with the aim of contributing to a 'sustainable' future for plastics in the developing world.
Recycling Plant & Materials
Invicta's recycling plant has been operational since 1946 and our plastics are free of heavy metals, including lead, cadmium and chromium. Where relevant products are manufactured to the ‘Materials in contact with Foods Regulations 1987 (89/109/EEC European Directive).
Quality Assurance
We want our clients to be delighted with the service and product we give them. To help us achieve this aim, we have modelled our comprehensive business and quality systems against the requirements of ISO 9001:2000. …and successfully achieved certification against this standard in 2003.
As well as our own Quality Management System, we operate in accordance with Clients specific needs and wishes. Successful systems are backed up by a full three year warranty against manufacturing defects. In addition, all our products comply with applicable national and international regulations. All education products comply with and have been tested against the EN71 toy requirements.
One of the main objectives of Invicta is to innovate, design, develop and manufacture plastic mouldings to meet customer specifications. The key criteria demand that products must be delivered to the customer:
- At the agreed time
- To the agreed specification, i.e. fitness for purpose
- At the agreed price
Because our products are distributed worldwide, particular attention is given to international Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations. All products and processes meet and frequently exceed International Quality Standards as shown by the elimination of all heavy metal compounds, including lead, cadmium and chromium, from all our products.
- All products conform to British and European Standards (BS 5665/EN71) and where appropriate carry the CE mark
- All products are guaranteeed against manufacturing deects for a full 3 years
- Invicta will accept all products returned at the end of their working life for total recycling
